Default Home Inspection in Daytona Beach area

I am interested in buying a home in the Daytona beach area. I would like to know the name of a good, thorough, and honest housing inspector there.

Thank you

Go to the ASHI website.

Home Inspector at American Society of Home Inspectors: American Society Of Home Inspectors, ASHI, ASHI Home Inspection, ASHI Inspector

It stands for the American society of Home Inspectors. It is , IMHO, the best group of inspectors. There is also NACHI, but I think ASHI is better.

On that site, you can find ASHI certified inspectors by zip code. You can also see ASHI's standards of Practice, and code of Ethics.

I am currently working on getting ASHI certified. It is a high standard, and I would trust an ASHI inspector....especially in Florida, where Home Inspectors do NOT yet need to be licensed, (not until 2010), like they do in NY.
