This is a funny story! And is for someone special SoFLGal. She has become a good friend!
Finally, we made an offer on a house today. We will see how we make out soon.
Anyway . . . on to the story.
While we were looking at this house, examining every room carefully, and taking pictures everywhere. I walked in to the garage, stepping down two steps and almost falling on my face. SoFlGal is a couple steps behind me and watching me do this. Kinda concerned, and pleased that I really didn't hurt myself. So I tell her I'm O.K., she is right by the garage door checking out the garage too. I take a picture of the electrical panel, and the Garage Door. As I'm taking a picture of the garage door, we here this huge SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH! I jumped around, scared a little!
As I turn around I thought it was SoFLGal! She has this look of terror on her face, so I'm sure it is her! I was really sure it was her because we are alone in the house - except for my brother who was out back! Too bad I wasn't standing closer to her, because she would have jumped into my arms - Darn-it!
But, any way, it wasn't her SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEECH! It was the bird, in its cage, under a sheet in the laundry room, and it was right next to her!
We composed our selves and laughed over it.
It was really funny! She has a great sense of humor!
