How did the weather turn out up in the panhandle? I saw the watches as I was getting ready for work. It's kind of an odd time of year for this and I was wondering if it's happened before.

I heard that there was a tornado/water spout off the Cape here.
The lightning freaked me out and we got zapped once but did not lose power.
Buckets of rain.
For this part of Florida, I think tornadoes can happen at any old time, but if I am wrong I hope someone will correct me.

Yeah, we get tornado watches throughout the year. That's not unusual, though it happens more in the summer, of course. We didn't get any tornadoes, though, so far as I know, here in the Pensacola/Navarre area, with yesterday's weather. We did get alot of rain, but no lightning. Dundee got soaked; looked like a drowned rat, instead of a horse! But, he'll dry out today.
