We just moved here to NE FL a few months ago. The weather is beautiful, storms n'all. People keep talking about the horrid weather to come..but how bad can it be for a few months? We came from a northern state that was no picnic in the summer, either. At least you have water at nearly every turn here.

Don't get all of these comments on the weather here. It's Florida, what do you expect?

I guess I am the ultimate wrong person for Florida. I don't even like the winters here. Anything over 70 degrees upsets me. If temps reach the point where I have to wear summer clothes, count me out. I would be very happy if the temps never got above 65 EVER. I don't think a place like that even exists in the entire country.

Three months of summer is about all I can take, IF I know the temps will be going down SUBSTANTIALLY, which they don't in Florida.
The yearly average in San Francisco, CA is 63 degrees as a high. The hottest month in San Francisco is September which averages 70 degrees.

Yeah, can't beat California weather.

I'm moving out of Florida, tomorrow actually...I know some people like the swamp climate but I'm looking forward to going outside during the summer without being completely miserable.

I like this post very much!

63 as a HIGH?

You've got to be kidding me. Some people consider that NICE weather? No thanks. I know the summer can get downright hot, but where I live the average annual temperature is 75 degrees.

That's what I keep my air conditioning at because it's a very comfortable temperature (which, btw, I only use 8 months a year, here in the "swamp").

I don't think TA would like it there--no snow! Try Maine or Vermont.
