Yes it does. Actually I'm surprised that the sun actually is shining in northeast on many days during the winter. We have almost same sunny days in winter as we have during the summer
But in Europe, it's cloudy during the winter.

My 6 months in MA last winter, yes a good amount of snow, but a lot of sun too, it was all not gloom and gray... It was actually perfect, I can't deal with sun every day. I need some gray cold days. Gets me in the fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas mood. Not Palms and heat/humidity....

Cool. Fine if you like it hot, I'm just worn out from it.

I can't believe a thread about the heat in Florida has 78 posts........
It's tropical folks.....look up the definition.
If you don't care for those types of conditions don't move here. And if you do move here and the two months that it's actually bad (Aug & Sept) bother you, don't complain, suck it up or move back!
You learn to do outside activities before noon or after the afternoon rainstorms. There goes the excuse of being over-weight or lazy because of the heat. OR...here's a thought....work out inside.

Lordy...people make it sound like you have to be a hermit 10 months out of the year.

EXACTLY. And I would even argue November as well.

More power to the people that like humidity. 75 or more degrees for me in any months other than Jan and Febuary is too disgusting. Not because of the temps, but because of the swampy humidity.

Yep, I'll admit I made a huge mistake coming here, but I will be back to civilization in CT soon enough. (My definition of civilization is probably different than most people that like FL, so take that how you want).
