What's going on (if anything) in Bronson, Florida? Close to Gainesville, OK, but what else is going on? Any new developments, shopping malls, or something big? Need to know the scoop. Thanks.

sorry, no..if your looking for somthin to do you wont find it in bronson,... the place has only about 5,000 people tops,.... best bet is to go to Gainesville or Ocala

I was checking to see if there are any big plans for the city, because we keep getting letters with offers to buy a property that my dad has up there. Was wondering what all the buzz was about.

According to my research, it does seem like a humble little town.

Believe me letters of interest have little to do with anything. My GF owns 21 acres, nice but in the middle of nowhere in Lafayette County (about 7 miles from Mayo). She has gotten some letters recently, and the whole deal is people just trying to purchase and turn the property. Most have ZERO interest in the property or the area, they just think if they look up some undervalued property on the county assessors website they can make a grand or two by reselling. Some folks are even doing things like addressing letters from individuals like Joe and Tammy Snicklefritz, but when you Google their phone number it turns up being a commercial address from some company called XYZ Enterprises Unlimited etc etc.

Old Town Fl.Would be the RIGHT place for you. It is only 45 min. from Gainesville The taxes are about the lowest in the state. Hunting and fishing are great.The gulf of mexcio is only 30 min. away. The famous SUWANNEE river is just mins. away. You will love it here.
