West Palm Beach is the 14th most dangerous city in the U.S., so avoid that. Also, Lake Worth is basically WPB's brother, and it has gangs and crime as well. Much of it is run-down looking, too.

I heard Kendall is one of the nicer Miami areas, but I haven't been there in years so I wouldn't even know anymore... things are changing.

I really like sarasota, and port charlotte, they both have a relaxed feel about them.


When I visted Bradenton, when my uncle and his girl lived there, the area they lived in reminded me of the country. I don't know why, but I felt like I was in Mexico.
