largest is Duval (Jacksonville)
Jguss- I think you're wrong on the time zone. It changes west of Tally and the Suwanee (sp) is east of Tally. But you're right about us having two time zones.
What FL celebrity (loosley termed) had a statue of a huge hand shooting a bird in his yard?
edit- I think I'm wrong about Duval

You are absolutely correct. I missed it by a bunch. I have a watch that automatically changes time zones when I cross them. I traveled I-10 many times and my watch always changed within a mile of the Swanee river. So I thought that's where it was. But actually, it runs down a river, just not the Swanee. It's the Apalachicola River. Way off on that one.

Neat watch- I've never heard of that before. I have an aunt who has everything and travels for a living. Where would I find one?
I wasn't sure where it changed, just know that it always messed me up when I had to go to Pensacola for a meeting.
Where was the hula hoop invented?

The watch was a joint venture between Timex and Motorola. It's also a pager that works nation wide. Pretty reasonable, I paid about $80 for it and the service is comparable to any other pager. Receives text messages too. I bought mine in a Sam's club but they don't have them anymore. But you can find them on-line.

Hula hoop is of unknown origin. It was used in Egypt almost 2000 years ago.
