I was wondering about Silver Springs, but didn't realize that they filmed in Green Cove, too. Sounds like the film crew used the film as an excuse for a road trip!

Have you read any of Carl Hiassen's books? they are so funny and many of the things he puts in seem too outrageous to even imagine. I remember when I read one about dolphins trying to mate with humans and I thought, "Okay, he really is pushing the realm of believability now." But shortly after that I read an article about it happening.

No, unfortunately, I have not read any of Car Hissen's books.

Longest dive? Woodville Karst
