I`ve been here 25 years and I am fine with little change I have grown accustomed to the central Florida weather pattern.

I love it all! Florida is my paradise. At least it's paradise in the city where we live!

But the sunsets, especially during our winter are unrivaled anywhere - just breathtaking!

Agreed... 15 years later, it has become boring to me(summer, spring, summer, spring). Yet there are some things good here as I posted earlier. I will not be negative in this post or thread. I forgot about the beautiful beaches up Near Bradenton, Longboat key, and anna maria Island. Lovers Key is pretty nice too. I have never been to the beaches up in the panhandle.

St. Augustine, now there is a beautiful place.... Hands down. So is Palm Coast, FL., I got stuck there on my move down when my Uhaul died. Nice area.

Like right now! "Fall" is coming and it feels fine!

Back to why I love our beaches... no, it's not all about water temp. But!...
I love the texture of the sand and the color of the sky against the color of the water and the ability to walk out to a sand bar and the number of great shells I can find on a 15-minute walk and the number of birds I can see on that same walk and the fact that I can see a dolphin or a manatee or a tarpon or a ray all on that same walk and maybe even more than one of those... So... yeah, I love our beaches. I can go swimming, too.
