Siesta Key ranked #3 this year in the state, usually in the top 10 in the country. In '89 the Woods Hole Institute ranked the Siesta sand as the best in the WORLD!

Islamorada and Key West have crap beaches. Take it from someone who lived in the keys for quite a few years.

Default South Beach & Bahia Honda State Park

SB is really Ghetto.... And u see garbage on the beach sometimes...
But the water is teal, crystal clear, an has a sand bar u can walk a mile out on.... Water here is some of the nicest you'll find in FL.... I don't care what anybody says....

Bahia Honda State park is just off the hook... If you've been there and really explored the entire place... You'd agree... This may be the nicest natural beach in FL... I would agree w the other guy though... Never seen nice swimming beaches in Islmorada and Key West...

I would agree the Panhandle must be up there to.....

Haulover Beach in the Miami/Aventura area also has beautiful water..... the only drawback (or draw, depending, lol) is that the North end of it is NUDE!
