Even Texas during the early 80's with the S&L's that belled up, and the 3rd. worst orange freeze in the history of the Rio Grand Valley looks better then Naples to me. We stuck together as a community, right down to setting smudge pots in the orange groves. Now I'll have to settle being a, "Sidewalk Supervisor." There going to be laying sewer pipes across the street at Botanical Gardens big ole things. That's alright keep right on building and building and building.

Woh--$100? I may be interested in that . . . well, as long as you don't have an expensive monthly maintenance fee. I wouldn't want it for free, even, if one has to pay $1000 per month or something for "maintenance".
TANaples, you are not at all into amusement parks, not even Disney?

It started as a teenager. I even get it sometimes when I drive, especially when I haven't eaten anything.

I moved to the Tallahassee area from Sacramento, CA a couple of years ago. Florida was ok at first, new area, new adventure. Now, I can't wait to move back west. Hopefully I will be back in northern Calif or Oregon by the first of 2009. Luckily, with my company there are opportunities in several locations. I can't take this humidity, the heat for too much of the year, the bugs, the lack of cultural diversity, etc. Plus, I miss the mountains and the cool evenings - even in the summer. Southern hospitality is great on the surface, but I have found if your aren't from here, you are an outsider and looked upon with suspicion.
Florida is great for many people, but not for me. Plus, all my family is in California and I feel the need to be closer to them.

I think she should take a drive to Universal's "Bloody Mary" exhibit. It will send chills down your spine, thus solving the Fla. heat problem.

Although I do enjoy those kinds of things. I liked the Haunted Mansion in Disney. Do they still have that?
I have been to Salem, Ma. also. I really liked that.

One for the condo and one for the house. We can afford both, but both are a drain and we could be saving a lot of money with only one. Anyway, I really want to get rid of the condo sooner rather than later for when we move in 5 years. Don't want to have to get rid of two places at the same time.
