Well, I am going home next week, unfortunately just to visit. Got a full weekend planned. Hanging out with my older daughter on LI for one day, then taking LIRR into Queens to meet my younger daughter. Next day going to the east end of LI to see the pumpkins, apples, REAL trees, farms, etc. Then we are going to my favorite seaford restaurant for FLOUNDER, and then to an Islanders Hockey Game. Yeah, I can wear a COAT. Next day, we are getting REAL bagels with a smear for breakfast, then going into Manhattan for shopping and REAL pizza. Going back to Florida on Monday. Boooooo. But I cannot get too depressed. We are going back again for Thanksgiving. YES!!!!

To say that Florida has no history is disingenuous at best.
It is understood by your postings that you don't like Florida but really, you were a history major and you say Florida has no history.
How about Georgia, any history there? Louisiana maybe?

If things go as planned, my glorious 10-day escape begins on November 23, which I can now say is next month!

Guess who is back home up in Massachusetts???? Yes we made it fine. Nice and easy drive, no problems. Colors are flowing in the trees. It's 52 degrees andpartly sunny. this feels so great!!!
