Wink Moving from NY to Orange Park need info on movers

Hello,

I will be moving to Fl (Orange Park) the 1st week of July,(from Long Island) I am researching movers, I think I am going with US 1 Van Lines has anyone used them. I went to the BBB site and they had some complaints. There are reasonable,($1,000) but they put your stuff on a truck with other peoples stuff moving to Fl. Thats okay with me I think?
Has anyone done that, I called Graebel Van Lines in JAX and they told approx. $9,000 so can anybody give me some advise and tell what they did and who they used. It would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Default Former Long Islander

I moved to Polk County Fl about 6 years ago from Long Island (Sayville), for $9000, you could buy alot of new stuff. I would have a big yard sale and rent a u-hale to tote your remaining stuff. Good luck with your move.
