I live in Pea Ridge (Pace), it's between Pace and Milton. I agree and hour drive is nothing, I just noticed some people who have lived here for a while hate he hour drive.
HOI is home owners insurance. Do you have complains about the area? Sounds like you are well situated

Thank you.

The good thing is home prices are/will come down because of the development, bad for me if I move though. Living in Pace/Milton you are close to the bay, but have to drive to get to the beach.
That hour depends on which beach you go to, you could go to Navarre (my favorite for beach), or Pensacola Beach to walk the boardwalk, or to Destin for the day for the shopping and the best beaches anywhere. So it could take you anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours but it's worth it. You have alot to choose from.
Good luck

The Pace/Milton area does sound nice. I wish I had the $ and time to visit all the different areas that I am interested in. Still thinking about that area but now am leaning more toward Largo. We decided to go ahead and spend more $ so we have more options of where to move. I like Largo because it is so close to beaches and also close to some larger cities so my husband has more places to find a job and shorter commute. but like I said still researching. Thanks for all the info
