We have moved to the Pinellas county beach areas in the last two weeks and are loving every minute so far. We have found overall that people are very friendly, but the driving is east coast aggressive! We did bring heavy coats, but they are in storage and hopefully will remain there! (No more trips up north, especially in the winter (Indiana), unless in an emergency....

We are moving to the Pinellas county beach areas at the end of December. Do you mind me asking you what area you are in and if you rented a house? I am trying to find more information on house rentals.

I am in the Redington Shores area, and we are renting a condo/apt. But as you drive along Gulf Blvd. I see lots of unadvertised specials for homes as well as apt/condos from Indian Shores clear down to Treasure Island (I dont get down to St. Pete beach much to speak about those). You can find some of the advertised listings in the classified online section of the st. petersburg times, beach rentals......
