Here are the average temps. Right around the same temperature. Humidity will be close to the same.

Cocoa is nice, quite touristy if you don't mind that.

Volusia will probably be a little higher cost wise than Hernando but there are definitely more jobs there.

Violent crime will be higher there but burglary and theft is a little higher here I think.

lady lake florida. Land and homes are very reasonable. I have a family member that has a 2004 /3bedroom 2bath 1783 sq ft with almost 2 acres for 140,000.great schools not loaded with traffc like orlando close to hospitals/shopping. A short drive to the beach.
