One determining factor will be if you want to grow your own citrus in the backyard. If so then it's Lakeland and points south. Peaches and pecans in the north near Lake City. Golf and Fishing anywhere. More of the cooler winters in the north. Plenty of nights that dip below freezing. HTH

I like the north, too. We get seasonal changes. I even saw sleet once!
Fall is gorgeous, winter is short, spring is breathtaking with the azaleas, redbud and other blossoms.
I've lived on the northwest coast, and am now northeast. I think I like the northeast a bit better, but that's just my opinion.
This is the beach near our home.

Went camping in Fernandina Beach years ago and the pic takes me back.
What a beautiful, unspoiled spot to live!

South Florida is full, so do not move here unless you enjoy living in the dumping ground of the US!

I like and have lived in both North and South Florida. Winter is gorgeous in S.Fl., Fall is Gorgeous in N.FL. The people in N.FL are much nicer and not rude. There is more to do in S.FL.: You have the Keys, The intracoastal, big cities(if you want them), The Bahamas are 50 miles away, multicultural experiences and a Tropical atmosphere.

North by far! From Sarasota on the west side, and Vero on the east side up...

I would also have to go with the North. It's much more laid back and not as crowded.
Beautiful pics BTW, thanks for sharing.
