Default Kissimmee

Can anyone tell me anything about the Kissimmee area? How are the schools? Housing, etc.? Thank you in advance!

shopzilla76 is on a distinguished road
Kissimme is Osceloa County, not the best school system. Housing is a little less expensive than Orlando. The population is mostly hispanic. If you are hispanic you will feel right a home since many people are bilingual.

I just came from up there visiting a friend whom relocated due to a job. As he's told me & from what I saw there are tons of hispanics from the N.Y. area. I'm from a Hispanic background culture & I was born in Miami in 1960 & have more in common w/English speaking people or even so called "rednecks" than I do with the Hispanics up there - our foods, music, way of thinking is different. The only thing we have in common is that we happen to know a different/2nd means of communication. Though, if you can speak English just fine you might be surprised & feel more at home with a non-spanish group than you do w/one of tons of Hispanic groups that exist in Florida that come from all over the globe & might not have anything in common except a language. Everthing is relative...and even in housing. Housing has gone up there & can go for the 200's for a 3/2/2 - something about 1500 sq.ft. of living space. Might seem expensive to some, but for somebody coming from the N.E. it's a bargain. And yess...traffic has gotten heavy & getting heavier from what I'm told with all the new construction/out of state people moving in.
