I've heard the lines in Palm Beach County have been very long. Some folks have been waiting for hours to vote.

I voted yesterday and had to wait about 20 minutes. I'm in Sarasota county on the west/gulf coast.

I voted on Tuesday (Oct 21) at Jimmie Keel Library in north Tampa. I waited over 1 and 1/2 hours. Thank goodness the weather was good. Library staff were passing out water to those feeling peaked from standing too long, etc. I think part of the reason for the wait was due to the need to print customized ballots. Personally, I liked the touch screens cause they have a "woops" button. Hopefully, someone can figure out a way to use them in the future and still provide an audit trail. Until then, we get to color in the dots!

I voted early via mail-in ballot. It was very convenient, fast and simple.

I voted on Friday in Miami-Dade, it took 1.5 hours from the time I got in line till I left the building.
Can I say that this is the most convoluted system now that we have to vote. I can only image what an elderly person may think of this system.

Not yet but I think its an absolute farce that people vote 2-3 weeks before an election day. For 100 years we got along fine voting on one day. We should have a national holiday on Tues so people can go vote OR have the Monday before Election day be considered early voting. The Democatic Party wants everyone to hurry up and vote like good little robots so no more dirt is brought up regarding Obama's sketchy and shady past. Would the real Obama please stand up!
