I can't believe they choked, I thought they had it this year. I'm a Red Sox fan, but I was hoping for Tampa win....

They played like they were in the minors.

The Phillies played everyone they met this post season tough. The Dodgers and the Brewers looked feeble against the Phillies. I think the Rays did well, not as well as I expected, but well. The Phillies only weak link during the postseason was Moyer and he had a great game against the Rays.

I'll be looking forward to next year. The team should be essentialy the same, but with more experiance.

I think they did great to even get to the World Series. This is a very young franchise.

We were sorry to see the Rays lose to the Phillies. Like many of you, I would have liked to have seen them win last night so they would have had a chance to win it all on their home field.

MY DH is a Yankees fan, but we were rooting for your Rays since several of their players came up through the minor leagues, specifically having been with the Hudson Valley Renegades.

I also love that the Rays are young team that hasn't gotten to be ridiculously heavy in salaries. I find the salaries of major league sports to be just disgusting, especially given these economic times. I heard that A-Rod's salary equals the entire payroll of the Rays. Talk about society being out of balance. <Stepping down from soap box now. >

Anyway, the Rays did a great job getting to the series. I really admired them and thought "This is what baseball is all about."
