Nope, just because the President is Republican, and the Governor is Republican, doesn't give the GOP a mandate in Florida.

But every statewide office, and the control of the state senate, and the state house of representatives, might demonstrate that Florida remains firmly under GOP control.

Florida just re-elected a GOP senator after he lied when he promised he would not run for re-election.

Without gerrymandering of ghettoes, the democrats wouldn't even have a congressional delegation.

Liberal areas of Florida would be college towns and urban ghettoes, just like the rest of the country.
