Default Move from Florida? To where?

I left Florida 8+ years ago, and I was just curious as to where the rest of ya'll went when you left Florida. We moved to Western NC, up to the mountains. We're getting ready to leave here, but aren't sure yet where we are going. Anyway, I was just wondering where everyone else ended up. when they left.

I left in September to go back to my home state of Massachusetts in the western end(I stay away from Boston). So far so good, but I won't say I will never go back to FL again...

Moved from Broward County to Atlanta two years ago. Picked a good time to leave, but I do miss it.

Moved from Orlando to Dallas and the only thing I like is I'm close to my family, otherwise I'm disgusted at the brainwashed religious-conservative-stay inside the box-thinking that is prevalent here.

As a native Floridian, got tired of the hurricanes and subsequent stupidity. Survived Ivan in 2004 and the 2005 season, getting brushed by four of them that season. Sold our Pensacola home for asking price in 15 days October of 2005. Settled in northeast Alabama and built a home on 13 acres on Lookout Mountain--45 min from Chattanooga, 90 min from Atlanta and Birmingham! People are super friendly, taxes are way low, and the peace and quiet priceless! I watch the leaves changing beautiful colors and deer in my front yard and spend absolutely no time missing Pensacola or Florida! I do go back and visit family...and that's what Florida is to me now...a good place to visit, but I don't want to live there!
