Default Port St John- taxes and insurance

Anyone have an idea of what the taxes and insurance would be approximately on a $150,000 home in the Port St John area. Thanks.

Insurance company &/or mortgage company will base it on the square footage & what it would cost to rebuild that size of a home. (they won't sel you $150K worth of insurance - IF you don't have a mortgage, then I dn't know how they handle it)

There's an online building estimator at building-cost.net.

you can use it and enter specifics (foundation type, sq footage, type of materials) for a rough estimate.
Then the insurance will vary depending on how old the home is, and if it has certain features, like certain type of roofing, alarms, roof straps, etc.

There's an insurance web site for quotes, where you can send them an email and they'll send you back a few quotes. (and at the moment I can't find the link, sorry.)
I'll look for it..
