Default house in probate
hello!
I have a question that i was wondering if anyone could help with....

I have a family member that recently passed and her home went into probate. Now my question is even if the house is in probate does that tie any other funds that were to be distributed to any of the family?

Probate is the court making sure everything is distributed according to the terms of the will. Generally, nothing will be distributed until a certain period of time has elapsed, in which the creditors of the estate can make claims. You can talk to the lawyer handling the estate. But...you may have have to sit tight for awhile.
