digs- the only jobs down here seem to be in the healthcare industry. You should have no problem finding a job.I have lived here since october, and I have found nothing other than healthcare jobs. There are 2 big hospitals and tons of small doctors offices. Makes me wish I became a nurse!

That's just the thing - nursing is huge now because there is a huge shortage, like there was with x-ray techs 3-5 years ago...but the x-ray market has become saturated in the past couple years because tons of people got word of mouth, enrolled in programs, and hit the job market at the same time which saturated the market and made it a lot harder to find a full-time gig.

I appreciate the positive encouragement but was hoping someone had some RT-specific advice? I've already applied to the only posted full-time x-ray position (at the Baptist), and have put my resume up on Absolutely Health. I'd LOVE to work at a small doctor's office because of the hours, no holidays etc, but it's pretty much impossible to search for those online...at least I haven't found a way to search for them.
