Mims doesn't really have anything like what you're looking for,it has one elementary school and no jobs. We just sold our house south of Mims and moved back to Tennessee. About 10 miles south of Mims is Titusville, it has all the schools. My wife was a teacher in Titusville for 8 years. If you live in either of these two towns your best bet for jobs is,Orlando about 35 miles, Merrit Island 15 miles, Cocoa Beach 20 miles or melbourne 40 miles. You may get lucky and find something in the adminstrative field in Titusville, but your husband would have to work in another town most likely.
