My husband and I are trying to figure out where to go on vacation,we have been to several areas in florida and would like to try somewhere new. We've been to Naples a couple times,Key West,Daytona and Deltona.
We were looking around and thought about Port St. Joe any thoughts from people who have been there?
Another thing is I am more of a land lover he is more the water,I love the water but fear it because I can't swim. So far our plan is to go in early May.
We are trying to find a place to fit both of our vacation wants.
Also if there are any other places that seem better we could use advice there as well.

Thanks

Port St. Joe is beautiful. Some of the prettiest beaches I have seen..out at the state park. Camping is great there. Surf fishing is good there. Swimming.
Deep, etc, but u can wade ankle deep and be safe. Great area for seafood!. Mellow area. Not a night life place unless u drive into a nearby town.

Port St Joe is a great place, Cil can give you advice on the area. St Augustine just north of Daytona is also a choice place for vacation. We are taking a few days off next week to enjoy another great secret of the state. I rate St Augustine as a 4 star place. Relax area, friendly people, lot of things to do, superb restaurants, no crime.... Lots of historical places and a great community....
