The company I currently work for(for 2 more weeks, Yay!) has let 9 more people go in the home office. People that were with them for 10-18 years... Glad I am getting the heck out of this company. Crap rolls downhill.
As usual you post nothing substantative.

No jobs in Florida? The millions of people working may disagree with you.

As far as that 19%, do you even know what the percentage in other states is. Pennsylvania is just below GFlorida if I recall and most states are not far off.

If Florida was 25% and other states were all 10% I could see it being a valid point but .03 of a percent is really nothing.

Try again?
Okay.

Yeah, jojajn posted unemployment figures.

With a show of hands can we see how many people did not know that unemployments is a problem in THIS COUNTRY at this time.

Don't see any hands so I guess everyone already knew.

Also you may want to use data a little more recent than 1993 for percentage of elderly.

Fast forward to 2008 and Florida elderly population is just over 17% not almost 19%. So Florida population is getting younger. Bet you didn't even know that Florida does not have the highest median age either.

Perhaps this is why Florida's population is dropping.

Global warming forecast shows potential problems for Florida.
More drought, more flooding. Hotter days, harder rain. Higher-intensity hurricanes.
