I guess your right considering those are "premium" wages in Florida. If your making more than $10 an hour you are considered well off in Florida.

As it is, state legislators make somewhere between $30-$40K a year from their elected office depending on leadership roles they may hold.

i have no problem with this at all. They should not be allowed ANY "gifts" or any other money to come their way that is somehow related to the position they hold. Jail sentences should be handed down to violators.

I'd also like them not allowed to hold other state, local or local government jobs or public school or public university positions. It seems like we get too many conflicts of interest from those who do.

I think maybe the reason the population of Florida is dropping is because of hurricanes. Homeowner insurance is skyrocketing.
