Where in florida are you looking to rent? I can help you get in touch with a reliable realtor or help you myself, but I do not know much more about where you want to be, or your budget. Let me know, and I will assist you as much as I can!

Check out VRBO® is Vacation Rentals By Owner
I use them for my place, but understand many places give preference to those who take at least 3 months, and many places , (like mine) are usually rented out about a year in advance. If you are talking about next month....you are a bit late, IMHO.
Good luck! Frank D.

Just google the local newspaper of wherever you are planning to go and check out the classified ads. There are so many places available representing all price ranges. I also agree with faithfulFrank as far as the VRBO website. It's a great source for places all over Florida. Many of the owners of these condo/villas can also be contacted for possible reduced rates. Tourism has been slower and the owners of rental property are very motivated to work with you.

If you wanted to be in Central Florida, you might want to check out Davenport. I has many short term rental homes in "rental home subdivisions", I'm just not sure what the cost is on what you would be interested in. You might want to check out Aviana, Providence, Reunion, or Solivita (although in Poinciana, it may be more reasonably priced). Best of luck to you
