It was cloudy and the sun didn't come out ALL DAY. It as very breezy, although still a little humid, even for a high of 74. Cold front coming tonight. Low in the 40s, maybe 30s inland (SOUTH Florida) with highs in the 60s, not even reaching 70s. Get our your PARKAS and GLOVES, Floridians. YOU will be freezing your you know what offs.

I am leaving Friday for highs of 24 and lows of 14. Maybe even SNOW. I am ready. Got my Irish sweaters I saved and my LL Bean GoreTex Down coat.

I am a very happy camper right now. I love it.

I have about 250 orchids, a third of which are in bloom or spiking new buds. While they are harded off and can take a bit of cold, the forecast has lows in the 30's. for several days. So now my house is over run with orchids.

A trip to the beach with out of town friends was short and sweet, kinda like "this is the beach", "good lets go back".

Plans to have lunch out doors at a local waterfront restaurant (Marker 4) were changed to dine in doors at Curry Creek Cafe.

I know it's worse (for those of us who like to be warm to hot) elsewhere, but these are the times I just want to hibernate.

If the current cloudy conditions don't pass soon, I know the sun deprivation will cause an onset of manic depression....I guess the Pollyanna in me should be glad that some people enjoy this type of weather.
