I see the starting pay is 30K with a 4 year degree, and was wondering if anyone knew anything about this Geico location in terms of job satisfaction, layoffs, and where the "safe" suburbs are in Lakeland FL are. Can it be the Lakeland Highlands? Will I be able to afford a 225k house with taxes, insurance, in the area? Thanks for your help.

I hate to say anything negative, Gosh you can do better, do you want to work at geico with 4 yr degree, You cannot afford a 225 on that salary.
Is Insurance your background? No you can barely afford to rent with that salary,

Lots of people who work for Geico and Progressive are getting a job with Verizon makeing twice the salary.
Verizon.com Sales Associate jobe, with college degree you would get top pay 19.xx plus free health and life, dental.
2 weeks vacation first yr, over 10 holidays,
