It is a good area. It is HUGE. It is also rural.

Most lots are 2.5 or 5 acres, although there are exceptions.

I just bought in Naples and first looked in Golden Gate. I decided to conduct a sexual predator search for the area and was shocked at how many lived in Golden Gates. Please stay clear.

Golden gate estates is NOT Golden gate. Golden gate city is not exactly a great area, but it isn't a bad area either. It has more of the lower income families, and quite a few immigrants. However, Golden gate estates is basically all woods. There are some areas that you don't have a neighbor for a quarter to a half a mile down the road. There are sexual predators everywhere you turn, and what makes you think for one minute that they are all registered?! It is your responsibility to teach your children to stay away from stangers, and for you to know who they talk to. Don't blame the area.

Staying away from strangers is not enough, because children are being kidnapped from the streets. Also, sometimes family members are CLOSETED pedophiles.

And pedophiles, will often try to date single women with small children, and becoming very solicituous and overly nice, in this new relationships, in order to get close to the little children, which in this case, he is no longer a "stranger."

You are confusing GG City with GG Estates.

City:
Lots are all about the same size except for the multi family lots.
The city is 4 square miles.

Estates:
Most lots are 2.5 or 5 acres although there are exceptions
The Estates is HUGE.

Both areas have a wide variety of homes although the lot size in the city limits the home size.
