My 7 year old and I sat on the computer for like 2 hours and looked at ALL the pictures. BEAUTIFUL!! And Cougar31, how lucky are you?!?! What a gorgeous place you have!

SunshineBaby, I love your photos! The droplets of rain on the lemon are beautiful. Love the Bougainvillea and the Oleander photos - were you using a macro or close-up filter? Nice effect, the sharp focus of the bougie flower framed by the softer bract. The red flowered shrub - that's an ixora, isn't it?
Cougar - that house! My whole cottage could fit inside that garage hehe. Love the royals, by the way. And the photo of lightning - very nice.

Thank you, Suncoaster  . Yes, I was using a macro focus. And yes, I think you're right; the red flowered shrub is an ixora. The name escaped me.
I'm fairly new to photography, so, it's nice to hear such good feedback  .
PS: Apparently there are two spellings for Bougainvillea/Bouganvilla. I think the first one is the more proper one, though, so I'll start using that  .

Cougar, this is such an awesome shot! Just the fireworks would have been great, but you captured so much around it, too. I love the colors reflecting on the bridge  .
