If you're new to photography, you're off to a great start. The flower close-ups are so nice. Are those your plants?
Macro lenses give such interesting effects - saw a macro photo of an orchid down at Selby last summer that was amazing - only the very center of the orchid was in clear focus - the rest was a beautiful wash of white and lavendar.

Wow Cougar - what aerials! My favorite is the last photo (5th I think) in your first post on this page - the cloudscape is wonderful.
Okay, I should know this but I don't - where were those shots taken? Above the Melbourne area?

Again, thank you  . I got my camera earlier this year.
Yes, those are my plants. I am going to a park tomorrow, though, and am hoping to get some nice pictures of wildlife for a change.
