That is not a copperhead snake.
What you have a picture of there is a red/orange rat snake, or also known as a corn snake. The big distinction is the brighter coloring and the narrow shaped head. A copperhead is a pit viper like a rattlesnake and a cottenmouth is Thay have a signature heart or triangular shaped head. For more information check out this website.
