WOW - I'm speechless. These photos are really phantastic. I've read (?) this thread now from the start and just want to fly with Cougar!
I'll post pics of "my" Florida soon. Which is: no high rises , lots of nature . But no emerald water . We traded that for a less crowded area - North East Florida!
(We've been all over the state and decided that a less touristy part of it would just suit us fine.)
Don't spread the word tho ...

Oh, the Gulf side is so beautiful with the turqouise or emerald water. But we don't like crowds and so we fell in love with an area which is not touristy at all - the north east of Florida. We visit every year for four weeks over Christmas and New Year.
Lets start with some impressions of charming Atlantic Beach and Neptune Beach which are part of the Jacksonville Beaches:
off Hannah Park
for the dolphin lovers
a beach front house
pelicans at the Intracoastal off Beach Boulevard

South of the Jacksonville Beaches is Ponte Vedra. This is the Boulevard with the PV Country Club to the right (ocean front homes to the left):
beach access at the Sawgrass Country Club
a typical winter weekday on the beach
for the mid-century lovers our favorite beach house, the Williamson Residence by famous Jacksonville architect William Morgan, built in 1963:

Some impressions of the Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, our vacation destination since many years:
view from a house we once rented
had some nice guests every night sitting outside on the door frame (we tiptoed whenever we came home late)
rear view of the townhouse we rented for the past three years
view from this townhouse at dawn
in the afternoon

Now we’re a little bit further to the south, in St. Augustine. A lot of photos of typical touristy stuff have already been posted earlier in this thread.
the famous Bridge of Lions during construction last January - the lower level just starts to lift to let some sail boats pass
the city at sunset, seen from the southern most point of Vilano Beach
