I've spent a lot of time on here searching around, I've only found a few places with stats that don't completely scare me! Can anyone give me an *honest* insider view of these towns? Thanks!

well ive grown up in eagle lake its it is really a nice small city with very little crime(at least that i hear about) it is a bit more orginized as a city then waverly, and is closer to a larger metro areas (Bartow Lakeland and winter haven)
last population figure i saw was around 2600
given its size (aprox 1.75 miles around) there really are not any bad parts of town.
not trying to down waverly by any means, i never go there, but oddly enough i was there yesterday delivering a stove and the house alarm next door went off for the entire 30 min i was there and there was no responce. i asked the lady i was dealing with she said it does it all the time.
Eagle lake has a new high school (that is expanding) and a new elem school, post office, fire station, nice city hall complex, and everything else your tipical small american town would have, 2 large lakes with boat ramps and parks so on ect....
