FLL airport, not as hectic as MIA international, and they fly southwest airlines so it would be a cheaper flight leaving.

I wouldn't live in Florida at all if I had a choice. I grew up on the East Coast of Florida, moved away for career, came back when we got a boat. We live in Sebastian and I HATE it. All the natives have fled elsewhere. The place is full of rude honking New York and New Jersey people. Most of them have last names that end in a vowel, not that there is anything wrong with that! I chose to live here again, not knowing that the transplants from (mostly) Long Island had ruined it. They cut you off in traffic even though this is a three stoplight town and traffic isn't a problem. Then they give you the one-finger salute as they speed away. They yell at clerks in the stores (whatever stores are left in this economy) and scream that if it weren't for them, the poor clerks wouldn't have a job. Honest - this is the kind of behavior we are exposed to every time we go out! They cut in front of you in line no matter where it is. They stand on street corners in our lovely neighborhood and argue at the top of their voices. If you wouldn't dream of moving to Long Island DO NOT MOVE HERE because that's what it's like peoplewise.
There's a skydiving school here and people tend to land on the runway, splat, they're dead. We've got nuts who keep running for city council and sometimes win. We've got crooked contractors, no oversight on them from the responsible agencies. Oh, did I mention surly tourists and an ashram cult? It's hot, muggy, buggy, and windy all the time. If you still want to live in FL, try the center of the state. You'll think you're on a cruise ship tour of Mexico. Anything off the coast is filling up with Hispanic illegals who get angry if you can't talk to them in Spanish. I've lived in California, Virginia, North Carolina, and Costa Rica. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED. Soon, they tell us, we will have an additional 6000 homes built between here and Fellsmero, 3 miles inland. (This may be postponed for a while due to economic crunch, but it will definitely happen eventually). There are no plans to increase infrastructure, accommodate additional traffic, or manage the growth in a manageable way. I can't leave now because I'm upside down on my mortgage, but as soon as I can I'm outta here! Still want to move here? LOL, and lotsa luck.

I hate Sebastian, FL and you will too

All the natives have fled elsewhere. The place is full of rude honking-voiced New York and New Jersey people, the majority of them Italian-Americans who grew up in Queens. As for me, I'll go to NC, where people are pleasant, or Alabama, ditto.

South Florida...everywhere else is too cold lol.
Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, or Boca would be my picks.
