I agree. Whenever I pay attention to who's cutting me off in traffic or trying to cut in line somewhere or who's chidren are running around (and into people while not looking where they are going) a public place like a shopping center (unattended), it's often people of hispanic descent. What drove her out of work was that illegal aliens took so many of these jobs that the WAGES paid to housekeepers became low, due to the surplus of illegal workers. The companies no longer wanted to pay "expensive US workers".

I totally understand what you are talking about. I did some housekeeping work because I realized that it paid more than some other jobs in managerial positions (after taxes). I did see illegals trying to do the job, but for smaller wages. Even I wouldn't work for those wages.

It wasn't as much as they pay in NY, but it was better than a person who is an immigrant. I told my uncle about what I was making and he was shocked. He said he paid his housekeeper $20-25 an hr. depending on what job he did.

I should suggest to all the illegals that if you go to upstate NY, you will get at least $20 an hr. I have no idea why they would work down here for pratically nothing??

What is sad is the fact that most of then haven't even graduated High School. In Miami only 52 percent of the population has graduated High School. True, they are working harder, but not smarter. If just about half of the population, over 25, hasn't graduated High School, I would see how they are just working harder and not smarter. That's why they are making lower wages.

The Cubans here have not had it as tough as the black people who came here as slaves and had to fight tooth and nail to end slavery and segregation before they were even able to be equal citizens. Difference is that you f**kers came here and had everything handed to you on a plate – fair play, but you have no right to complain and no right to try to “take over” and drive Caucasian/other Americans and anyone else you don’t like away, just because they don’t like your Mia-ME-ME-ME/selfish b*stard culture.

I'm sorry but I have to say that this is one of the most ignorant posts I've ever read. Dude, I understand every single problem or reason a person can have to migrate of of his country, but there are some characteristics that divide civilized humans from animals. When you voluntarily resign to your country, you are 100% aware that you are also voluntarily chosing another country inthe world. If you chose United States, you know the USA is an English spoken country. Since this is a voluntarily act, and the American people is having the priceless act of opening the doors for you, the least you can do is have a little bit of respect and be thankful to the land that gives you food. Part of that little respect is SPEAK ENGLISH. Nobody has to move to England or whatever. YOU need to get the hell out of here if you do not agree with the United States and its system. That's even one of the things you sign and swear for it when you become a citizen. Nobody forced you to come here, if you prefer Spanish, then go to Spain and leave Americans in peace with their beautiful empire. Milions and millions around the world dream to come here; unfortunatelly, most of them just because there's money here. Within their ignorance and limited metal ability, they do not realize WHY this country has so much money. The answer is, its people. The American people. The ones who created this system, the ones who started capitalism, companies, technology. Those who create the big corporates today and provide millions of jobs from which you are taking advantage today. Once you realize that, you'll find out that the only way to keep this nation as the best in the world, is assimilating 100% with the American way of thinking. Otherwise, yall will end up destroying this country.

And I repeat, this is The United States, you came voluntarily here, respect it, if you do not agree with how it is in every single aspect, you have hundreds of countries to choose around the globe. I thought you said you had made your last post, a while back but I guess you just can't stop the name-calling and hating. Everything you write is the same stuff over and over and it gets nauseating. Hey, at least give me some credit for at least trying to figure out the literal translation. I wish there were those that could at least try to speak English. Some people don't even make the effort! That would help! This is why I have been trying to speak Spanish. This way I can at least have a conversation. LOL!

Hey, at least I know how to write in my own language. At least I am trying. When I am in Italy, I learned to speak a little Italian. In France, I learned a little French. It's really not that hard to try even if you make mistakes. The biggest mistake it not trying.
