Default Buying in the Naples area

We're looking for a community that has lots of amenities where every other home isn't a foreclosure. Price range is 200k-250k. Does anyone know anything about Valencia Lakes, zip code 34120?

Valencia Lakes is a very nice development. Depending on what you are used to, it is a few miles to a full size grocery or other shopping. The commute can be hell at rush hour. It is many miles from the beach.

While I don't know the exact demographics, I would guess there are more families and those of working age than retires or snowbirds there. Those folks tend to live further west.

Joanne,
Did you find out any more about Valancia Lakes in Naples? We too are looking to buy in that area but it DOES seem like every other home there *IS* in foreclosure or is a short sale. Im wondering if there is something wrong with the neighborhood as the homes do seem to be very good values.
