Smile Florida Utilities? AC?

Hello, Just wondering if anyone could tell me who the power, cable, internet, phone people are down there? I have heard of Bellsouth, does everyone have Bellsouth or do you all have a choice as to who you get?

Also wondering how expensive it is to cool your houses down there in the summer months? Is one company more expensive than the other?

Mostly FPL and ATT (bellsouth). Comcast is the only cable company in south Florida. Smaller towns and the Keys have electrical cooperatives, and here it's more expensive than FPL. Service is a LOT better though. United telephone (Sprint) is the only independant phone utility and it's in the Lake Okeechobee area. There are also independant resellers like supra telecom in south Florida.

O.k. I have my cable, phone and internet all from the same provider. My phone is a Voip phone. Is that type of thing available in Florida?

VOIP is available anywhere. Also I host my own VOIP connection to our office. Saves a lot of drive time!
