Is winter over?
Watching the news tonight, it said temps approaching 90 by Saturday. I was really hoping that I didnt hear that, but the weatherman reiterated that temps were getting close to 90 degrees one more time, so then I knew it was reality. It may only get to 88, but I guess for the dramatic effect, he threw the 90 out there. It certainly got my attention! It's too early for 90 (or 89) degrees!.

They are predicting 79 here on Friday, 77 for Saturday.
I love sleeping with the windows open, have done so since October.
I hope I'll be able to continue this a wee bit longer.
Right now, the weather is perfect.

I love having the windows open as well. Weather for us in Sarasota is 70's all week with low 80's on the weekend, and back to 74/55 on Monday. Can't beat that in my book!

I am such a wimp that I had to put my heater on in the car this morning as it was 58 degrees and I was freezing! Native Floridian if you couldn't tell. I am soooooo ready for summer.

So far I don't think its as hot as it was last year this time. If I remember correctly we didn't have a spring just went right to summer.

Can I ask anyone who knows, is the weather on the east coast of Florida more tolerable as far as heat goes? It seems that the people who complain the most about the heat are from the West coast and some in the Central part of Florida. I know All of Florida gets hot, but my experience in the short time that I was there was that Orlando seemed much warmer than Ft. Lauderdale. Do you agree or disagree and please explain why either way. Thanks!

I know Lakeland is extremely hot and humid during the summer. When I go to Cocoa Beach the temps are much more tolerable. It is a huge difference. The ocean breezes make for a cooler summer and warmer winter. Stay close to the water.
