Default Shopping Experience

If you can afford it, you do shop with the total experience in mind. Food shopping is just like any other shopping. Some of us are willing to look for bargains regardless of the surroundings and others aren't. You can buy clothing in a lovely shop with a helpful salesperson or you can stand on a cement floor going through the bargain bins alone. It's all to do with how much money you have and how you want to spend it. Service and beauty have a price in addition to the merchandise.

I live in Florida and tried almost all of the competing grocery chains. I exclusively shop only at Publix now, after seeing what the others had to offer. I do look at prices obviously, and Publix does have some really aggressive ads(BOGOS)! If some things are a bit higher, I weigh it all out. I will pay a bit more for nice clerks and a clean store. The Publix I shop at is awesome! It has such a nice layout and feel. Its the new St.Petersburg Tyrone area Publix that is a two story. It has a large parking garage on the bottom with escalators and elevators to take you on the top to shop.
