Yea, I don't think the anti-medical marijuana party can win this fight. The good out weighs the bad by a long run ;]

He's right about it being the only known cure for a tequila hangover though.
Works wonders!

I'll vote for it. It's a crime that it's illegal in the first place.
For people who are sick and hurting, it absolutely should be made available.
Would someone start a poll please?

I suffer from Glaucoma yet I don't know how marijuana would supposedly help my condition. I have never smoked anything and between the laser eye surgery I had and eye drops twice a day I've been able to save my eyesight in the affected eye so far. That being said I would vote for medical marijuana if it relieves the pain & suffering of those afflicted by certain conditions & diseases.

Watch Refer Madness or google "chomsky marijuana" to learn why cannabis was made illegal. You'll laugh your butt off.
Scared at what they might find and loving the fact that drug busting is big business, the feds blocked virtually all university funding to study the positive attributes of cannabis. Alas, the people did their own research-hemp is one of the most useful products in all of nature. The actual smoking of cannabis flowers, the main point of contention, is harmless at worst, helpful at best.
The fact that we spend tax dollars imprisoning people for cultivating and or consuming a plant is one of the most laughable and embarrassing things about our democracy.
But that actually requires a little research, and most people are busy and just not up for it, or they've been so brainwashed that they are beyond rationality. To deny sick people any medicine that might help them, however, is a new level of low bordering on sadistic. How anybody could vote against medical marijuana is beyond me. It's a no brainer.

I had a really close friend that had cancer... the only thing that would relief his pain was marijuana.
I would vote for it...

You can probably avoid a lot of the harmful carcinogens by using a Vaporizer.
Welcome to the Home of the Marijuana Vaporizer - Benefits
In my experiences in life, I have found alcoholics to be more self destructive and dangerous than potheads. I have seen alcohol completely destroy peoples lives.
One of the dangers I can see with pot is that it can sometimes be a "gateway drug", to more hardcore drugs like cocaine or heroin.

My mom had cancer and over a period of 4 years went through three rounds of chemotherapy and a round of radiation. It was horrible! During this time we bought marijuana and cooked it down into a butter for her. She would put it on toast or saltines and would use it for cooking. It helped ease her nausea and made the pain bearable for her.
I think it should be legal across the board and I hope it comes up for a vote.
