Even drugs like cocaine and PCP are Schedule II, meaning they can be prescribed by a doctor for medical reasons. Why not pot?

I have a relative that is middle aged and inherited Glaucoma in early thirties, he smoked pot for years, it didn't help with the pressure or stop him from using the eye drops. It may help him cope though. :-)

Personally if it were to help someone who is suffering I am all for it. Where I live in Sarasota there is a park the younger crowd hangs out and smokes. When you drive by at night the fumes are so strong I swear you could get high. Any way one neighbor called the cops, the response was they don't really care about pot its the crack, meth and other big ones they are concerned about.

Marijuana I believe does help and if it was used for the right reasons, they I don't see why it shouldn't be on the ballot.

If you use Timoptin drops, you should know they are made from THC, the active ingredient in cannabis.

No.. PUT IT ON THE BALLOT.. This is a grassroots effort, we know the support is there once we get it on the ballot, but right now we need your help to get it there!
Make sure you download and send in your petition, but before you do that make sure you get at least 20 other people to sign!! It's not hard at all. I collected 776 petitions at an event on Saturday..
Please volunteer 5 minutes here and 2 minutes there to let all of your friends about the efforts and get them to sign!

I don't know about this and can't find any information to confirm. I am nearly positive that the only allowable cannabis medication in America is Marinol which is a synthetic THC pill.
If you have more information, please email me at gieseghj@gmail.com
Thanks!

Why not, it would generate tons of revenue, tax the crap out of it. IMO, less harmful than alcohol.

Just curious.... Why would you suggest heavy taxation on a medication? Do you also want to tax the crap out of antibiotics? Other pain relievers? It sounds like you have it in for the ill.

I'll vote yes, if alcohol is legal why shouldn't marijuana be legalized. Drunk people are way worse than people that are high on marijuana. I could care less what someone else does to their body, if they want to smoke why should I care. Like alcohol of generations past, this will be our generations fight, and eventually as some generations pass on, it will become legal.
