Is this weather normal for this time of the year in South Florida? We are arriving on Thursday and will be staying until the 15th or 16th, and it looks like isolated and scattered thundershowers almost every day or every other day? Im so hoping the kids will be able to enjoy the pool....

Usually you'll be fine. That's one of the great things about Florida. In the summer it rains just about every day, or so it seems, but the rain only lasts 30 minutes to an hour. It's not like up north where the entire day is a wash.

We've been in a huge drought, so hopefully it will rain! But it does usually clear up and get very humid and sticky afterwards, especially in the summer. Remember, this is only (barely) Spring now.

Just cause the forecast has a rain symbol on everyday of the week doesn't mean your gonna see rain everyday, it just means the % chance of rain coverage that day is above 20%, and if you do see rain, its usually not long. AND the morning hours (sunrise-1pm ish) are usually always nice pool weather hours, just depends.

Isolated and scattered mean just that. We need the rain badly, it's better than being evacuated because a brush fire is out of control 1/4 mile from your hotel/rental.

drive with caution berryjuice; the way people drive in S FL is awful and aggressive. not to get off topic, just so you are prepared.
