Default Making the big move

I have decided to move to Florida but need some advice/guidance. Should I wait till I have a job then make the big move or should I just save some $$ then find a place to live and move? I have BS and my experience is in Accounting. From what I see on the web there are plenty of jobs. I just want more of a direction on which route is easier to go. Also I am a single mother of 2 small children so I would need to have daycare in order as well. I appreciate your insight and help. Oh the area I am looking at is Palm Beach County.

Thanks!

Hello.

I was wondering where you were moving from and why? I wouldn't move here without a job unless I had atleast $20,000. That should be good for about 6 months. As far as Palm Beach County, there are nice places like Jupiter. Florida isn't cheap. It has to be very hard to move here with 2 small kids. As far as you question goes, i would definatley NOT move here without a job. After you find a job, then you could narrow down a place to live and investigate the statistics on the area and the schools. I think that FPL (Florida Power & Light) is based out of Palm Beach County. You may want to look into them to see if they have any openings. You could also look into the IRS. Good Luck.

Unless you have a large savings (6mos income), get the job first.
