One Cheap Bastard (Riverview: lease, work, high school)

Ok this is not a Yankee VS Southern thing. This has to be the worst case of cheap jerk we have ever seen. Today at the local Walmart in Riverview FL we are in line and this guy from Jersey is making a total scene about not getting what he thought was a 2 for 1.

I thought that it was for a big purchase so I said nothing. About ten minutes later he finally said it was for .75 cents. He wanted a manager to come to the register. This Jerk was unreal. The manager came over and told him what the deal was.

This moron then went to customer service to ***** some more. I told him that he was nothing but a cheap ******* and he never missed a lick on the manager. I am glad that I do not have to work in the public sector as I would have punched him into next week. The poor girl at the register had to leave because he upset her so much. There is my rant but at nearing 50 that is the worst I have ever seen. And that is one jerk that gives Jersey a bad name. And if by any chance that the moron reads the please PM me as I would love to teach you some manners. The way you made that poor girl feel was a shame and I am sure you did not even notice.

Poor girl....I used to work at a fast place joint when I was in high school right off Interstate 95 so I can relate! Although I still enjoy visiting FL, I sure wouldn't want to live there again. While most of the people are great, that small percentage really sticks out.

It seems to me people have just gotten ruder (or is it more rude),especially the last 5-6 years.

In any store in South Florida there's a discussion going on in the checkout line, which barely moves. Many times I go to a store and just walk out , leaving the cart if the manager won't open another register. They must hate me!!

Not quite sure what this has to do with Florida -- people are people, no matter where they are, and I have seen rude behavior everywhere at some point.

Great point, where ever you go in life, you are going to find people who choose to be difficult.
